Has anyone ever seen 0-byte TMP files being created in directories other than the Windows Temp folders? I'm having a large problem with directories literally filling up with these 0-byte files. I'd like to know the cause so it can be prevented in the future. So far, I've only seen it on networks running Novell Netware 4.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check and see where Fox (if it is a Fox issue) is set to create temp files. You can use:

?sys(2023)

Then, you can change the CONFIG.FP or .FPW to change it if need be. The thing is, that if Fox is being shut down properly, those temp files get deleted.
If you are running Fox DOS, and maybe running it from a .BAT file, you can always add a 'DEL C:\TEMP\*.BAT' in your .BAT file.

We're using FPW 2.6a. Shouldn't it use the Windows temp variable as the default location? And, again, this is only occuring on Novell networks.

BTW: Our config.fpw file has no Temp reference. Should it in a Novell environment?

Thanks
