.vbs Exit Status in .Bat File 1

I hope I am in the correct forum to ask this question.

How do I capture the exit status of a .vbs script in a .bat file? Does anyone know the syntax for that?

Just so I am clear, the .vbs script is being invoked from the .bat file.
