I have been trying to use some VBA from a sample CD I got with a Beginner's VBA book. It works in the sample but it does not work for me! X-)
The two declarations:
Dim db as Database
Dim qdfAction as QueryDef
are causing the error: User-defined type not defined

Anyhelp would be much appreciated,
Thank you,
Grainne

In the VB environment go to Tools-References and see what you have checked. You may need a reference ckecked to Microsoft DAO 3.6 object library. Try to compile if this was not checked. The other popular library is Microsoft VB for Apps Extensibility 5.3 . Gord
