VBA Word Hyperlink question

I have hyperlinks in my document that link to external files that no longer exsist.

I would like the hyperlinks to point to a heading in the document which is the same name as the file.Manually I can do this by editing the hyperlink and changing where it points to from a file to a heading within the document.

I need to be able to do this through a vba macro.

Any suggestions would be welcomed. I use Word 2000.
