VBA project references problem

On my home system I develop using Win OfficeXP. I've got an Excel spreadsheet with some VBA code attached to do various things.

When I ship this to the office, I have Win Office2000 and the spreadsheet opens and says it cannot find some of the project references. Looks like it is looking for Microsoft Office 10 Excel, Word, etc.

The office system has references for Microsoft Office 9 Excel, Word, etc.

How does one go about solving this kind of problem - I'm sure that not everyone has OfficeXP.

Office 9 refers to Office 2000
Office 10 refers to XP

Just change the references to 9 & re-compile your code; if you've used properties or methods that are standard to XP only, you'll get compile errors. If you don't the code should work as it does at home.

Always a pain when yuop've got to program in a different environment; I've Ghosted the platform/Office combinations I need to work with (Win 98 /Office 97, Win 2k / Office 2k, Win 2k Office XP, Win Xp /Office 97, 2k and XP) and reinstall as needed - saves me loads of hassle

HTH

Cheers
