Having written a fairly large (for me!) VBA script inside Excel, I would like to print it.

However, when I do, I lose the colours (even though printing to colour printer) which help readability.

Is there a way around this, please?

Nor you can from VBE itself. There are a couple of third party utilities out there that do a fairly decent job.

Any recommendations, to give me a shortlist and cut out rubbish?

Hi
You could check out the links posted in this thread.

The bottom line is that you will need, as my illustrious 'colleague', fumei, has already mentioned, a third party utility to retain colour etc when printing code!

;-)
If a man says something and there are no women there to hear him, is he still wrong? [ponder]
How do I get the best answers?

Thanks, shame Microsoft don't believe in WYSIWYG still!

That is for sure. I put together a Word template to run through pasted code content looking for comment strings, keywords etc etc. and format accordingly, but.....

I got most of the way through, then thought what the heck am I doing? This is nonsense and a waste of my time.

Gerry,

Yes, indeed!

The shareware print software I tried did the job reasonably well.

cheers

You can get an excellent add in call VBACodePrint from
It prints code in full WYSIWYG with colours and numbered lines. You also have plently of custom options to select from. It costs around £30 (USD $59) but its excellent value for money. You can print out code in various ways including PDF, export and view code before printing it.

Hope this helps.
