VB6 Crystal Reports 4.6.. Passing value from VB!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I was wondering do you have any idea how to insert text (ie the word Mandatory) into a Crystal Report if a database field (also called Mandatory) contains the value 1.

This would be a hugeeeeeeee help if you have any idea.

I want to do something like:

If mandutory = 1 then
Display "MANDUTORY"
EndIf

But how can this be done from VB to take affect in a Crystal Report??????????????
