VB6.0 DirecX 8.1 Documentation wanted!!!

I've spent a month trying to figure out the DirectX documentation, and NOTHING. Isn't there anything easier you can mail me??? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a complete idiot in graphics, but I've no intention of letting it be.
