VB Variable to Javascript variable 1

Does anyone know how to pass variables back and forth betwen javascript and VB?? I am constantly plagued by this problem??? I need some specific code with correct syntax.

asssign the variable to a session variable then read it into anywhere you want Live long and make your kids suffer..
