Total newbie to VB.net... so forgive me. Someone told me that you cant drop in an html site as a directory off a site built on VB.net.

Seriously, is this true?

Thanks ca8!

So basically say if you wanted your basic publishing web built in front page as a link off a secure vb.net with say a message board or something like that, you could do it?

Yes - each file/folder is interpreted by the relevant ISAPI extension so if you have a seperate folder of just HTML pages it is irrelevant that other parts of the site are aspx pages.

Does the server need a specific Web configuration? Perhaps that's the trouble?

No IIS (if that is the web server you are using) should handle all requests and process them accordingly.
