VB.NET and VB6

Hi there,
I have developped some graphics utilities using VB6, as complex 3D wireframe graphics. I wonder if I can use the Visual Basic.Net package to continuing to develop this type of programming, I am not sure if VB.NET is focus in WEB stuff more than in new graphics capabilities, as the usage of DirectX 8.x commands

Thanks for your answer, I a, talking about the VB.Net Standard edition. While the VB6 upgrade costs around 400 canandiens dollars, and the VB.NET version not even halph of it, I wonder if this Standard edition is a lite version of the Visual Studio Net
