Hi.
Copying and pasting a function that is written in Visual Basic X seems to get nowhere in CR 8.x. There is no Format function, no GoTo statement, and I didn't get any further. Is there an equivalent to the GoTo statement inside CR 8.x?

While I'm here, has anybody else noticed the complete lacking of functionality that the Formula editor has, not even Copy and Paste icons. What do the rest of you do - use an external editor?

Thanks in advance.

The formula editor is fully functinal in terms of copy and paste, however this is not via an icon, only from a right click of selected text.

In terms of goto, if you use the Crystal RDC - report designer component - inside of VB you will have a lot of functionality you cannot get otherwise. I am not much of a VB guy but check out the crystal integration forum which is dedicated to crytal reports in VB.
