VB 2008 How To List Installed Applications?

Dear Experts:
LINQ is the new thing for me. Can I list all installed applications querying my system with LINQ?

Is there another way to expose this information?

I've tried to find a way to do it, but I'm not having any luck. If you'd point me to a namespace that might expose this information, I think I can pick it up from there.

Or, any suggestions you might have would be appreciated.
