Just want to know what is /var/adm/pacct and why I need /var/adm/pacct data files or otherwise is there any toold to review this data files.

/var/adm/pacct on solaris

/var/adm/pacct is the current process accounting file.
Process accounting is performed by the system kernel.Upon
termination of a process, one record per process is written
to the file /var/adm/pacct.
This used for accounting and subsequently charging the customers based on usage.
