SI
I'm using MS Biztalk Server 2000.
I have a problem with validating Edifact 92.1 instance.I load D93A document specification(ordersSchema.xml), and then when I try to validate my EDI file, it prompts a message:
The required "BGM" record was not found in the inbound document. The parser failed to convert the document due to processing errors. See the following messages for details.

Then i remove UNA,UNB and UNH lines, but still:
Additional data in the document instance was not parsed. Make sure that the document instance you want to validate contains only one document.
The parser failed to convert the document due to processing errors. See the following messages for details.

I'm 99% sure that file is written by EDI standards and that I'have put the delimiters right. So what could be a problem?

Sorry - I can't help you, but ... your post just confirms my opinion on Biztalk :

It's so lousy when it comes to error messages, that you more or less are lost when a message (document) doesn't match the document definition. I have tested this product with plain csv-files with tenth of thousands of records in which a single records contains an error - and I have spent hours trying to find the error - biztalk doesn't help at all.
Fortunately I am a programmer, so I am able to write programs to find the error (And I have done that !!!).

I also tried with EDIFACT-files - but gave up.

>> See the following messages for details ...
I have seen that message lots of times - and there is no message following .... CRAP !!!

IMHO : Find another piece of software that is capable of reporting errors in a way that can be used.
In a live environment it's difficult to just tell the sender / creator of the message that 'Biztalk rejects your
document - something must be wrong with it ...'

Phew .... that did help ... ;-)

If you remove the UNB-segment you must also remove the UNZ-segment (They are a pair - (the envelope))

The same goes for UNH : Also remove the UNT.
