I worked on an application that uses Director as a shell for a Flash application which accesses databases and writes files. It works fine on Windows but on Mac it brings up a ValentinaInit error on startup. I did not initially develop it and it would run on Mac previously, unfortunately I had to edit the Director files to remove database entries. If you need more information, please ask as I really have no idea why it now won't work on Mac other than Mac blows.
