Valcom V2904 Intercom - Call Pilot App

We have a Valcom V2904 door intercom (4 doors) - it is programmed on the Branch Office as a COT with ATDN set to 8397 which is defined as an ACD dummy queue, pointing to an SDN in CallPilot. The SDN points to an app which routes the intercom call to a different phone extension depending on the day of week and time of day.

The CallPilot app works properly on its own.

CallPilot is on a CS1000M connected to the Branch Office via fibre.

However, it doesn't seem to work when the intercom button is pressed.

If the ATDN is set to an ext for an analog set and that set is manually forwarded at specific times of day everything works too - but this really isn't practical for the long term.

I've tried setting the ATDN to this analog set (8595) and then forwarding the set to voice mail and having a SDN of 8595 pointing to the app and this doesn't seem to work either.

Any ideas?

i got dizzy reading your post.. your cp app needs to be the actual dialed dn.. so if you build a voice service dn with that dn, it should work

8397 defined as a SDN pointing to your application will do the trick as JP stated

I got rid of the 8397 ACD queue, so now I have:

ATDN for the COT trunk set to 8397
SDN of 8397 pointing to the app
CP app id is 8397 too

It still isn't ringing thru.

If I call 8397 directly, it works as it should.

Do you think the fact that the CallPilot is on the CS1000M and the COT trunk is on the Branch office has something to do with it?

Try a jumping on with a test set to see if the Valcom is dialing the ATDN. Shouldn't matter if it is on a CS1000.

Remove the time of day from the application and see if it works. My bet is that it will. Repost after you try this and let us know if it worked.

What thaaa????

if you trac the cot, is it sending the atdn correctly?

normal procedure for that (here) is to build 8397 in ld 23

8397
maxp 1
ncfw 3301 (mail answer dn)

then add a vsdn for 8397.. we have dozens of those working. use a maxp 1 acd to send the call to mail.. the cp see's the atdn as the original dialed dn... but we are using did's on a lot of those.. do a trac on the cot and post that.

I think the problem here is a result of the day of the week and time of day options in the application. This creates a tandem transfer scenario and the call will not complete by design intent of the callpilot.

Took out all the time of day and day of week controls - no change.

I've tried this with and without 8397 being an ACD queue - always having an VSDN of 8397 - no change.

The tech with me clipped on - we hear reorder.

We have had a lot of trouble on this install with connectivity between the Branch Office and the CS1000M - the analog and digital sets are programmed on the Branch - the IPs are programmed on both, but normally register downtown.

The intercom trunk TN is on the Branch.
