VAL Manager

You need to contact your Avaya Rep for getting VAL manager application /software..meanwhile you can back your announcements using below procedure..
DO following incase you donot have VAL Manager...
Login to Definity and enter below command..
command: enable file-system board 01a10 login viren viren
* where 01a10 is you VAL boar location..
above command enables you to do a ftp to VAL board..
Now do a ftp to VAL borad..
ftp a.b.c.d where a.b.c.d is your VAL borad Ip address
put login as viren
passwrd as viren
after successful login, it should be something like this ..
FTP>
type in bin and press enter..
now type in mget * (this will get all the wav files from your VAL board to you PC.
once through with ftp close you ftp connection and give below comman on your definty..
command: disable file-system borad 01a10
