VAL Board issue / Question

Ok - I have a val board that i have successfully recorded 2 announcements on - i have built the rest of the announcements but can't get them recorded...

I dial FAC / Dial Ann number / press 1 (NOTHING happens??)

I have built an additional announcement (just add ann n)

I have delete them and rebuilt them - still nothing. - Any ideas?

make sure the COS (Class Of Service) that the STATION you are trying to record the announcments from has "Console Permissions" enabled.

They have successfully recorded from this station on another VAL board in another NODE. (and they've recorded the 2 that are working on this board)

check what Mitch says, if it looks good then list trace on your phone when you try to record the announcement see if you get any info

Is the full capacity for Val boards enabled in your customer parameters?

Thinking about it if it was a COR issue you'd get NU as soon as you dial the FAC

Can you re-record over an existing announcement i.e get one of the ones that is working, and then press 1 to record see if that works

is the administration the same i.e are they on the same board etc, do a list announcement
