Val Board Announcement Name Change

Is there any way to change the name on an announcement without it wiping out the announcement? When we change the name in the S8700 on an announcement it clears the announcement recorded.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
change the name of the wav file as well. What I do change the name of the announcement in val manager. Then I change it in the pbx.

The name in the pbx must match that on the server.
