VAL Announcement Remote Admin

Is there a way to remotely change VAL announcements when calling from a non-Avaya (outside) phone? Can we do it with some type of adjunct routing or something? Ip connectivity and replacing the wav file is not an option. this must be dial up.

if you mean recording announcement remotely, you can setup your remote access with a DID, call the remote access, dial the announcement access code and record the announcement. Please note that this may be a security issue so ensure that the cor on your remote access is buttoned up.

However, if you mean dialing to your pbx then invoking val manager in that manner, it wont work. you have to be connected to your vpn, launch val manager and download the file that way.
