Do you mean Netscape Webmail or the Mail and Newsgroups account?
Either I cannot find a way to do locally, but with Mail and Newsgroups account (we used Sendmail on our incoming/outgoing server), we can set up an autoreply on the server end (and configure aliases for the time period out).
