When we go to Restore by Session, the list that shows backup tapes/sessions is showing backup jobs that we don't even have the tapes for anymore. Our backups are standard in that they are named Monday1 thru Friday4 (four weeks worth of tapes), but if we've done any special backups or named a backup differntly, those are still listed. We will never use those backup sessions to restore anything; they were done before performing unusual maintenance and just in case a server blew up... Is there a way to clean up that list? ARCserve 9 has all default options, possibly the pruning of database occurs every 21 days instead of 30, but that is it...Thanks!

quick way is to just blow it away.
ARCserve Server Admin, Database tab, Initialize.
then just merge back the tapes.
