Utility - A Database to Keep Track of Files on Multiple Drives, CD's, DVD's, etc.

1. I have too many hard drives to keep up with what is on each drive.

2. I am trying to keep a database of what exactly is on each one. I would like to specify - *.doc, *.xls, *.rtf, *.avi, etc. so I can then 'pop' in the drive via direct or USB and find the file.

Any suggestions that work for you? Thank you. Dave
