Using Win2k3 Server Licenses on Win2k Server

My organization is in an interesting situation. A majority of our servers are currently Win2k Server, but when we purchased client access licenses (per-user licensing scheme) for our servers a lot of those licenses were for Win2k3 Server. What we need to do is enter the licenses! We have various sites in our Active Directory Domain.

What can you tell me that would help in this situation? Thanks!

You don't need to enter the licenses for CAL's, you simply need to show proof of purchase to account for every user that can access your network.

W2K3 CAL's are useable in a W2K environment, no problem.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I should have specified that the program itself is telling us that we need more licenses. I'm assuming this means that we need to enter them into the computer.

They don't. In W2K3, it's disabled out of the box.
