Using vertical and horizontal orientation on same page

I am typing a flyer. How do I organize the text so that the top part of the page goes in a horizontal direction and the bottom half goes vertically. I am using Lotus Word Pro 9.5

In Word, we would place the sideways text into a textbox and rotate it. YOu may even need to paste the textbox into something like Paint, and rotate it there first.
