I am not familiar with the article from the MS site. They generally reference the .LDB file, like Databaseguy. The .LDB file is really a record locking file, and is maintained through the Ms Access programm. It is not an absoloute indicator ow who is or even has been 'into' the db. It does have a record of all 'current' users, however it may (and often does) also have a record of 'previous' users as well. IF you use this route, you need to carefully read the literature re the file use to understand the role it plays -so you will NOT be confused by the inconsistiency int he list and actual users.
