Using two wireless optical mice

Hi! My husband has been using a wireless optical mouse for awhile now. I got one and hooked it up. It worked great... until he started using his computer. He was able to control my pointer using his mouse! Is there a way to change the frequency (or whatever) on my mouse so that his won't interfere with mine? Thanks so much.

Many of the better quality wireless units have differant channels for exactly this reason but it just depends on what you have.
