Anyone know of a howto on how to use a TN750C ? I have it plugged in and am trying to add an announcement, but I'm seeing lots of options that aren't exactly self-explanatory.

If you do a "list conf all" does the card show up?

Is quite simple to handle a TN750c.
You only can record announcements from a terminal with console permissions (COS).
Type: change announcement and add a new one as integrated type, 32b rate and the location of the board.
To record: press the Announcement access code (FAC)+ number of the ann. created + 1 (to record)
2 (to listen what you record)
3 (to remove the record)

Quite easy.

It says "The board selected is not supported by this command".. ugg..

Enable Ann-board XXYXX XXYXX is the board location in your switch.

That worked! Thanks guys/gals/other...

If this is a card that was used before be sure to do 'Erase Announcements' before you go to far. The card will only have 255 secounds of recording time and if it had been used before it may have memory tied up without announcement extensions assigned.

You may need NETCON data ports setup in the system, depends on the system, in order to do a backup to the flash memory card. You can use this type of card in an S8700 system but can't do an external backup of the announcements.

You can see the record time remaining by using the command 'list integrated' and it will be in the upper right conner of the display.

According to Tier 3, even if it is a new board run the erase announcements command after the initial install. The best I remember was they do test announcements on those sometimes but I am not 100% positive. Anyway the erase announcements command should be ran before recording anything on it.
