OK, things are really looking up! Thank you all for your help in advance.

I am trying to replace my plain text with GIFs images (nothing but text on these images) to place them as navigation options. My objective is to keep a better texture between browsers ...

I have
<li><a href=&quot;login.cfm&quot;><img src=&quot;images/nav/SignIn.gif&quot; width=&quot;55&quot; height=&quot;10 border=&quot;0&quot;&quot;></a></li>

Which works well except that the image shows lines around it. I can tell that this is because of the LINK coloring (blue, magenta, ...) because non-visited links have blue lines while visited links have magenta.

How do I get rid of this?

Regards;

<li><a href=&quot;login.cfm&quot;><img src=&quot;images/nav/SignIn.gif&quot; width=&quot;55&quot; height=&quot;10 border=&quot;0&quot;&quot;></a></li>

Remove the second quote.
