Using subscripts and superscripts in Report Designer

I need to insert some subscripts in to a VFP report to denote chemical reference values. It's extremely time consuming and not easy to use labels but I've been positioning them higher and lower until they appear correctly. For example, the 2 in CO2 has to be lower then the C or O.

Anyone know of an easier way to do this ?

When I highlight my text in "Word" and select "Font" the dialog allows me to check subscript. Unfortunately, the font dialog in FoxPro does not have the same option.

You can use the character map, which gives to the equivalent ASCII characters.
For Example :

4³ (four to the power of 3) would be:

?TRANSFORM(4)+CHR(179)

I had forgotten about the Character Map which is found on my machine at Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Character Map.

I see a lot of fonts with Superscripts but none so far with Subscripts. Will keep looking though. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you cannot find what you need among the Windows "native" fonts, a Google search for
subscript font download
has turned up a good number of possibilities.

Additionally searching for
scientific font download
also yields quite a few possibilities.

Once you find what you need, you can always specify the VFP Report Form TextBox font.
