Hi all,

Just found this forum !

I need some help on using the same Spry menu bar for my website.

Currently for every page of my website, I have been doing it the "hard" way.

Have to manually repeat the menu bar set-up for every page. Tried to find through various Dreamweaver books but not able to find relevant info on doing it in proper way. That is, one menu bar that can be used throughout the same website.

Appreciate help on this !

Welcome to Tek-Tips. Read faq222-2244 to see how to get the best from these forums.

For this question:
All server side languages support some form of 'include' statement to include an external file.
For ASP:
Code:
<!-- #INCLUDE FILE="file.css" -->
For PHP:
Code:
<?php
include("file.css");
?>
Otherwise google for 'SSI' (server side includes)

You need to create a master page with the spry menu in place. Then save that master page as the template page. Then create the new pages from that template.

Thanks for the replies !

Have done some research, what fauntleroy said is the solution to my problem. Create a template page for use of the web pages.

Thanks again !
