Hello All,
I have a RIS server running and I would like to add a XP image to it. When I try to run RIPREP on my prototype machine I get an error: The RIS server to which you are attempting to post this installation does not contain the correct CD-based image. The version of the CD-based image on the server must match the version of the system you are attempting to image[Version 5.1 Build 2600, Language English]. Please either select a different RIS server to post this installation to or add the corresponding CD-based image to the current RIS server.
Microsoft's technet said I need to update to SP1 or remove some hotfixes. I tried both and neither worked.

Has anyone successfully got this to work?

I also have an RIS server runnnig, i am trying to remote install an OS on my target machine with PXE support. I run risetup.exe and and follow all the steps. When i boot from the target machine, it able to get the RIS server IP address and tftp the the server to download the boot image, my problem is where is the boot image located!? Is it in \Reminst\.. and it cannot start the CIW(Client Installation Wizard). Can somebody help?? Thanks in advance.

p/s: I have sp1 & sp2 install, DHCP & DNS server are ruuning in the same machine.
