I "RUN" the postie mail application with the "RUN" command in a comiled foxpro executable program and receive the error message "RUN|! command failed." The help stated that is may be caused by "insufficient free memory to load the shell program into memory." If anyone knows how to increase the "free memory" or has had any experience with this, please respond....Thank you for taking out the time to read my dilemma.

If you do not have 256K of free conventional memory, Visual FoxPro displays an error message. To correct this, try one or both of the following:
1. Close applications and files to free up additional memory.
or
2. Copy FoxRun.PIF in the directory of VFP.
Edit Foxrun.pif to reduce the amount of memory required in the KB Required text box.
If the external command requires more than 256K, MS-DOS displays an error message in the FoxPro Run Command window. To correct this, edit your Foxrun.pif to increase the amount of memory required in the KB Required text
