I'm an absolute rookie when it comes to PHP and SQL, yet I started a non-profit community for filmmakers, and as it starts growing, content and their profile/bio pages will prove a real pain, so I thought before the community grows further, to make it database driven, unfortunately I don't have the $$ resources or expertise to make this happen. I've downloaded several Free options like "ovidentia" and "Portalsuite 2003" but have no idea on how to make them work.

Any help will be appreciated, especially if it could involve real time communication since I can't deal yet with technical terms. The host server is linux, has PHP 4+ version and SQL capabilities.

Thanks a million, I'll give recognition in the site for those who help me out in this endeavor. (And gladly give one of my screenplay characters his or her name ;)
