Using Oracle to store/access pdf's?

Hey all,

I'm new to Oracle, and was wondering what your input was s to how I should store pdf files in an Oracle database. Should I just use a BLOB?

Also, I need to be able to provide access to the pdf files stored in the DB - what would be the best way to make an application that will retrieve the pdf and then call Acrobat to display it? Thanks for any help or direction you can give me.
