I know to use a combo box on a form to set criteria for a query:
[Forms]![form_name]![field_name]

However, I cannot apply this code in the query when I use the multiple selection option for the combo box ie. the combo box contains more than one highlighted value.

.... just get a blank result

Any suggestions?

Tks

I wasn't aware you could make multiple selections in a combo box. If you mean list box, check the FAQs in either this forum or the Access Reports forum for some samples.

I've check out both suggested FAQs - but it did not help.

Is there not a query solution to this problem - or do I have to use VB code?

Hi

Try "use multi selection list box as query criteria" as a search criteria in Google, this will give you numerous examples, including the perfectly good ones from tek-tips FAQ's, plus Microsoft and others, complete with code snipits

I believe coding is the only solution for using a multi-select list box.
