Using MS Access as database for VB 1

when i start to build an application using Visual basic 6, i cannot use Ms Access 2000 database that i already make.
I must build a new one with Visual Data manager.

Why??

Your question is somewhat lacking.

Just what happens when you try to use it?

If it is because of an unrecognized db format, then upgrade to VB6 SP5.

If you are using DAO, then change your references from DAO 3.x to DAO 3.6.

After that, if you are using a DataControl, make sure the Connect property is set to Access 2000.

If you are using ADO, then make sure the provider in the connection string is set to the JET 4.0 provider.
