I have 2 requirements for a report. The first requirement is to produce the report for all divisions. The second requirement is to produce the report for a selected division. A report parms screen is displayed for both reports.

I would like to use the same form for both queries. What is the proper syntax for setting the RecordSource property for the report?

Where would the record source property be set? I put the code in the "ON Open" event for the report after the Report Parms screen is displayed and the report was run with the "all" version.

Thanks for your help.

Try this
In your query put an "ask" Parameter such as

Like [Enter Division] & "*"

in the Division field.
Then run th equery and enter a valid division and see if it returns the correct results.
Next Run your query again except this time do not key anything in, just press the Enter Key.
See if your query returns all divisions.
Then you need only one query for your report.

DougP
dposton@universal1.com

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.
