Hello,

I am trying to use Go Live to create forms in order to view and edit information on my Microsoft Access database. I have already tried using Access to create a data access page using info from my database but when I move it to the server it cannot connect with the version of the database that is on the server. Now I want to try the other route and use Go Live to create the forms. What I want to know is, where can I find a good tutorial or some other information on how to get started in this?

I tackled this problem about 9 months ago (except for the editing part--I just display information from my Access database). I found a book online that you can download as a PDF called REal World Golive 6.0. There are two chapters on Dynamic Content that are really helpful. I also looked at some of the sample files that ship with Golive 6.0 to figure out how they did certain things. I tried to use the manual that came with the Golive software but that was a little too nebulous and it presumes you know a lot about how databases and websites interact, that you just need to know how to do it in Golive.

I'd be happy to help you with as much as I know. Just post your questions here and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks for your reply RJ, I'll check out that book. I've been trying to dissect some pages that are already working, and eventually I think I'll get it. Thanks again,
