using custom function from Access

Hi All,

I'm trying to retrieve records from my db. I built a custom function which works in my SQL inside Access, but when trying to use it from within ASP, I receive this error:

Undefined function 'Replace2' in expression.

Does anyone know how to use a custom function in an SQL statement?

you can't do that.

With .ASP you must create a connection to your database and use SQL to request your data

All that is taken care of.

It's just that I built a custom Module in my Access database with my custom functions. I want to use one of these custom functions in my SQLStatement.

This works from with Access VBA, or an access query but does not work from with my VBScript in ASP.
