Can you use CR to create code 39 barcode? Just wondering.

Thank you. How can you go about using it w/ CR? We have it on the mainframe...we like to have it dumped down from the mainframe to CR then onto a medium (a cd for instance). I think they reside in VSAM files. Thanks you in advance.

Using what with CR? You say you have "it" on the mainframe... What is it? The data? Some barcodes?

What is going to a CD?

You need to provide real technical information:

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used
Example data
Expected output

If your post is a a coupld of sentences, then you're probably NOT supplying meaningful information.

You can create a CSV file from the mainframe data and read that from CR, or if it's large, import it into MS Access and add indexing for better performance.

Place the object you want barcoded in the report, right click on it and select format object. Choose the bar code font.

Thats it.
