Hello all,

We have a bit of a weird network. We don't have a proxy server. And on some workstations their default gateway is not the way out to the internet (via the firewall), but it goes out to an intranet, so to enable the workstations to browse the internet we set in the proxy setting of the browser the firewalls ip address ie 192.168.1.1 port 80.

This works fine with our Checkpoint 4.0 firewall but now we have upgraded to NG it no longer works as a proxy.

Is this a fact of life with NG or is there something I can tweak to make this work?

Cheers Simon.

I cant say i know how NG has changed but try looking at the logs (switch on view implied rules in logs if nothing appears)
when you try to make the connection see if anything appears. you may be able to find a work around.
