Hi all,

We recently upgraded to v10 and along with it came ASA. As I'm new to ASA I figured I'd ask if anyone is doing this or is it possible to run daily BCMS VDN Reports automatically and have it print out to a network printer?

The command line we currently type manually every morning for the previous date is as follows.

li bcms vdn xxxx d mm/dd mm/dd

Currently using Procomm this command is repeated manually for approx. 30 VDN's, exported to Word, then printed out on the default network printer. We would really appreciate any help in streamlining this process.

Thanks in advance for your time and effort,
Janney

No problem. Just use the "reports" feature and then choose "schedule" instead of "run now". The scheduler will let you set it to repeat every day, week, month, etc. -CL

If you click on the advanced tab on the left and choose report then just type the command li bcms vdn xxxx and choose the screen capture to default printer, you can schedule this report to run daily. John

OK, so far so good. I got it scheduled and printing. Now, just a few more ?'s which I can't seem to get past.
First, I'm assuming (yes, I know... and especially me) that I need to create a separate scheduled entry for each of the 30 VDN's. Not a problem if so.
Second, is there a way to have the dates change automatically each day in order to report on the previous day? If not, and I have to change the schedules each day, then it kind of defeats the purpose I suppose.

Thanks again for any suggestions!
Janney
