I have 5 DLT tapes that has been backing up on Arcserve and I am now trying to use these tapes in Backupexec, I try to format and it want format tapes, nor overwrite them...media is like hung

Depending on the version of both BE and ArcServe, BE can read and restore ArcServe tapes.
