I planned on using an image as the background on my index page but it only works in preview mode. It doesn't show up when i upload the files. I'd like to have the image cover the entire page and i'd add buttons to that. Shrinking the file way down doesn't help. I don't have a problem loading images for content or thumbnails. I've been offered suggestions elsewhere but nothing has worked so far. I'm not using css.

thanks

I'm not using css.
Why not? That would be the simplest method.
See: CSS Background on the W3schools site.

Are you uploading the image file for the background when you upload the rest of the files???

How are you setting the background? With an absolute path or a relative path???

As traingamer said, why not use CSS?

Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

I'll check on the paths. I do upload the file like the other files. I haven't had a chance to work on this lately. I've done my entire site without CSS and i don't know what it's for, that's why i'm not using it.
