Using ADO control with sequelink 4.51

I have worked with visual basic -progress using sequelink 4.51 for progress 8.3b. The connection is ok... but I can't the correct recordcount, always it has -1, consecuently the datagrid, datacombo,datalist can't use. They give an error because they use the recordcount to add the records.

It's urgen somebody could help me!!!,
