I have a device that I wish to write a small program for to save having to open the supplied program when I only want to do a few small things and the supplied program is big and takes a few mins to load.

The device has a driver installed individually so I was wondering how I can access the device from VB6?

I hope this is enough info.

No, not really. What is the device? The Interface? Can you load the driver?

The device is a NetMD program. I just want to write a program to name tracks.

I know that people have used the COM objects in C+ and got it working but I have no experence with C. So is it possible via VB?

I also want to do a project using the USB Infrared deivce I have.

Not sure if thats all you meant so if not can you be more precise. Thanks
