Help... All our users are only sharing 1 month of their calendar in Outlook (mixture of 98 and 2000). In Outlook options, they are set to share 2 months worth by default. I've set mine to 6 months and set my update interval to 1 minute, and yet still when people try to invite me to a meeting there is no free/busy info for me after the end of July.

Is there a global setting within Exchange (5.5 Enterprise SP4) for this??

Thanks.

Adrian.

ok I figured this one... In Microsoft terms, sharing 2 months of your calendar means sharing 2 months in their entirety i.e. from the 1st to the 31st of the month, so even though we're at the end of June, June still counts as one entire month, so August is, by default, hidden.... oh well..... looks like we'll be changing everyones outlook settings....

To view more of the calender you need to change the outlook settings for each client concerned.

Goto tools->Calender options ->Free / Busy Options then in the window that pops up alter setting to however many months you require.

Remember must also be done at other clients machine too.

Hope that helps.

Just thought I would add my tuppence worth.
I had this problem too - particularly with resources - whats the point of a meeting room if you can only book between 1 and 2 months ahead? To get a resource to advertise further in the future set your Outlook client to open the resource mailbox, then run Outlook with the /CleanFreeBusy switch, leave it running for a few minutes, then close it. I do this for about 100 resources at the start of every month - in fact, I should do this now.

Hope this helps
