Hello all,

So we have a Personal Directory with a handful of users. This directory has the phone numbers Prepended with a "91". When someone that is in the User Directory calls, it shows up on the CID as "Wireless Caller". I have the Trunk Prefix with a "91" as well.

I am aware that you can "Tag" Incoming Calls on the "Incoming Call Route" by "Incoming CLI" - However this is obviously not Practical when users are adding Personal Contacts.

Am I missing something?

Thank you.

Sounds like you have a setting to favour trunk over directory for Caller ID turned on on the incoming line. Then the caller calling in doesnt have a name associated with their cell number with the provider so the default name assigned at network level is Wireless caller and so this gets displayed.

Pepp77: Thank you, changed to Favor Directory.

Update - Still not working. Looks like that field only applies to SIP Trunks.

That is information that the provider sends along with the caller ID.
It comes probably add name if no other name is sent.
